The Sigma Additive AcGovDustrial Network accelerates the advancement of metal AM into production through collaboration on next generation technology development in areas like sensor fusion, machine learning and AI. The network provides a strong academic program supported by a coalition of government entities and leading industrial companies invested in in- situ AM monitoring and analytics. Concrete objectives of the network are to see in-situ technologies being proven ready and effective, research funding granted, and commercial projects and programs confidently implementing AM in serial production. We accomplish this by connecting Academia, Industry, Government, and Solution Providers to Advance AM In-situ monitoring and analysis.
