AM Quality Monitoring and Analytics News – January 2022 Newsletter

Big News on Polymers

Last month, we announced the expansion of our in-process monitoring and analytics solutions from metal 3D into the polymer 3d printing market. As our CEO put it, “Sigma Labs’ PrintRite3D in-process quality assurance system now provides a consistent way to monitor production real-time across 3D printers from different manufacturers, supporting different processes, and now multiple types of materials.” Click here to see what 3dPrint.com had to say about our announcement.

Industry Collaboration

We’ve made significant progress in building technical integrations and relationships with printing manufacturers (OEMs) like DMG MORI and Additive Industries, as well as software firms like Materialise. Our in-process quality assurance monitoring and analytics solution are designed to work across a vast majority of hardware platforms so chances are, we can work with your existing or future equipment. Radical Collaboration

Sigma Labs’ CEO, Mark Ruport, wrote an article for Metal AM Magazine about the critical importance of Radical Collaboration to ensure part qualification and certification.

As Mr. Ruport explains, collaboration among various AM sectors is not only important for individual manufacturers and equipment providers but also for the growth of the entire additive manufacturing industry.

Additive Manufacturing Resources

There are plenty of great resources about additive manufacturing quality at our Resources Center. And if you haven’t downloaded our latest whitepaper, Navigating the Additive Manufacturing QA Minefield, you’ll find it relevant and actionable. You can download it instantly here.

You’ll see a lot more news coming about our industry partnerships and contributions to additive manufacturing quality standards. But rest assured that everything we do is designed to fulfill our mission statement: To accelerate the adoption of Additive Manufacturing by setting the standard for In-situ Quality Monitoring and Analytics.

Have a great 2022 and don’t hesitate to contact us if we can help in any way.

Sincerely,

The Sigma Labs Team
